Pinnacle is mourning the loss of another long-time resident, Mr. Paul Wall, who passed away Friday morning at Northern Surry Hospital in Mount Airy. Mr. Wall had been sick for quite sometime. Junior Craig had been stopping by each and every day to check on Paul. Mr. Wall is survived by two sons and a daughter. Paul, not too many years ago, helped Mike Snyder set tobacco. I think he drove the tractor. He also is survived by many loving friends.

My granddaughters are at church camp this week. I sure am missing them. They will be doing mission work around Mount Airy and Bible study, also. I am so thankful for friends like Jimmy and Cindy Vipperman.

Check on the elderly. The heat has been extreme.

Mike and I have been canning tomato juice with Molly’s help. You know readers, there are some teenagers that still enjoy helping around the house. Molly is one of them. Every teenager has different qualities, Sara with her music and Ashley being active in sports. Pinnacle has some special kids.

Prayer list: Paul Wall family, Harvey Gordon, Jane Boles, nursing home residents, our soldiers, government leaders, my family and me.

“His divine power has given us everything we need for life.” 2 Peter 1:3
